This brand approached us without fully understanding the
critical state of their Amazon Seller Central account. Through
careful adjustments and strategic planning, we resolved their
issues without any drop in sales. This created a solid
foundation for us to double their sales.
When we took over, their ad spend was at 20% TACoS (ad
spend as a percentage of total sales), meaning they were
spending twice as much on advertising as they should. After
analyzing their targeted keywords, we found that most of their
ad-driven sales would have occurred organically due to their
strong rankings. By cutting their ad spend in half, we
maintained the same top-line sales while signicantly
improving protability.
The Amazon grocery category operates dierently than other
categories in terms of referral fees, which are typically 15%. For
grocery, the fee varies based on price, weight, and dimensions.
We discovered that lowering their product price from $15.99 to
$14.99 actually increased their prot per sale by $0.20 because
the referral fee dropped from 15% to 8%
